Let’s face it—cargo vans aren’t work-ready straight from the factory. That’s why we built out this ProMaster with real-world demands in mind. Every detail serves a purpose:

– Improved Safety with grip steps, grab handles, and a solid grille guard.

– Organized Storage using Holman shelving, bins, and lockers.

– Enhanced Security through window screens and external locks.

– Functional Lighting and Flooring to boost interior visibility and durability.

Rear Access: Starting from the Back

Right at the rear, we installed a Luverne Rear Grip Step. This 54″ wide, non-slip aluminum step features integrated rubber bumpers and reflective tape for increased visibility. It’s easier to get in and out—especially when carrying gear.

We also added a Legend SecuriLock system. This dual-mode lock can be set to either slam lock or deadlock mode depending on your workflow. It’s one of the most secure van locks available, and a must-have for contractors transporting valuable tools.

Inside the rear doors, Legend window security screens offer dual protection: they prevent smash-and-grab theft and stop cargo from damaging glass while in transit.

Driver-Side Entry: Safety and Accessibility

On the side of the van, you’ll find the Luverne Side Grip Step XL, a 9.5″ wide steel step that spans 54″. Designed with deep perforations, this step scrapes mud and debris from boots while providing a solid foothold—even in rain or snow.

Next to it, the Legend yellow grab handle makes entry and exit even safer. These small details reduce the risk of slips, which is especially important when you’re in and out of your van all day.

Front-End Protection: SolidShield Grille Guard

Up front, we outfitted this RAM with a Luverne SolidShield Grille Guard. Built from 2″ tubular steel, it uses factory mounting points for easy installation—no drilling required. This guard protects your front end from unexpected bumps while offering an accessory rail for mounting work lights or other gear.

Lighting the Interior: Legend Motion Sensor Ceiling Lights

Once inside, you’ll notice the Legend Motion Sensor Ceiling Lights turn on automatically. With over 1,800 lumens of brightness and simple plug-and-play installation, these lights drastically improve visibility. Whether loading after dark or searching for parts inside, this upgrade is a game-changer.

Legend Interior Wall Liners and Flooring

We lined the doors, ceiling, and walls with Legend DuraTherm wall panels, which insulate and protect the van’s interior. They’re backed with foam for impact resistance and come pre-cut for a clean, factory-like fit.

At the base, we installed the Legend Stabiligrip composite floor. It’s ½-inch thick and built to withstand years of abuse from heavy loads and foot traffic. Plus, aluminum sill plates protect high-wear areas at the doorways.

Holman Workbench, Shelving, and Lockers

Mounted inside the cargo area is a Holman steel workbench with a backsplash and large drawer. This system provides a sturdy, accessible workspace—ideal for writing up job notes or staging parts.

We also added modular Holman shelving with stackable bins and steel brackets. These shelves are quiet, secure, and easy to configure based on your gear.

Next to the shelving sits a Holman locker—fully enclosed, secure, and perfect for stashing valuable tools or job-specific gear you don’t want out in the open.

Bulkhead and Access: Holman Partition with Latch Kit

A Holman full wire partition separates the cab from the cargo bay, with an optional latch handle kit that allows quick access between the two. This setup keeps tools in the back while still providing front-to-rear convenience.

TigerTough Seat Covers: Built for the Job

Up front, we installed TigerTough Seat Covers tailored for the RAM ProMaster. Made from 1,000 denier Cordura, these covers resist punctures, spills, and abrasion. Available in multiple colors, they include separate pieces for the headrest and armrests, ensuring a snug, professional fit.

Holman Folding Shelves and Tank Holder

For added flexibility, we added Holman aluminum folding shelves. These shelves support up to 150 lbs each and fold flat against the wall when not in use. With steel legs, foam liners, and gas struts, they’re both practical and durable.

We also mounted a Holman three-tier tank holder, which secures up to three 30-lb or 50-lb tanks using heavy-duty nylon straps. It’s a compact and secure solution for gas or refrigerant storage.

Up Top: Holman Drop-Down Ladder Rack

Finally, on the roof, we mounted a Holman drop-down ladder rack in aluminum. The easy-glide handle makes lowering and retrieving ladders safe and smooth—no more risky balancing acts or awkward lifts. Whether you’re 6’3″ or 5’5″, you’ll appreciate how accessible this system makes ladder handling.
