If your lock system is vulnerable to a thief simply breaking your front window, opening the door and pressing unlock to gain access to the cargo area of your van this LCR will prevent it. One LCR is needed when installing it at the BCM or two if installing at both door switches.
To test your locks. 1. Roll down your front window and shut all of your doors. 2. Lock your van with the key fob. 3. Wait a few minutes for the system to go dormant and then reach in and open the door using the interior handle and press unlock. Now check your rear cargo doors to see if they unlocked. If they did this LCR from Thunderbolt Locks will prevent it from happening whereas if a thief breaks the window and opens the door, the unlock function will not work. However, once a key is inserted into the ignition, it will work, and of course, the key fob will always be able to lock and unlock the van.
