The UWS Secure Lock under tonneau chest box is the ideal truck bed tool box for pickups with a tonneau cover. It features a low profile for wide-range compatibility, dual Secure Lock handles, our patented RigidCore™ lid, extra-thick aluminum construction and a dependable construction.

This UWS under tonneau tool box is engineered to be compatible with a wide variety of tonneau covers. It measures just under 16-1/2" tall to sit low in the truck bed and offer enough clearance for most tonneau covers. The lid is also offset toward the rear to maximize storage area and maintain unobstructed lid operation. The lid self-opens to a full 90 degrees for convenient access when your hands are full (may be limited by tonneau cover style).

For reliable security wherever your adventures take you, UWS under tonneau tool boxes feature Secure Lock handles. These T-handle, twist-style handles are both lockable, allowing the box to be locked on driver side, passenger side or both. The handles are also connected by an interior rod that allows the box to be opened from either side once unlocked. The interior rod and protective rod enclosure also help to resist prying for increased security.

Like most UWS tool boxes, the UWS under tonneau chest box is constructed with our patented RigidCore™ foam-filled lid. The lid is filled with a solid foam core sandwiched between two aluminum plates. This patented technology greatly increases the box's structural integrity and keeps the lid from bending, warping or binding during operation. We also equip each storage chest with a MicroSeal™ gasket that lines the entire seam where the lid meets the tub. This helps seal out moisture, dirt, debris, insects and other threats to your tools and equipment.

For maximum strength, the UWS Secure Lock under tonneau tool box is made from extra-thick aluminum, right here in the USA. We use a 0.058" thick aluminum that is welded together to make a single-piece tub. This ensures excellent protection for your cargo. Each box is also backed with a limited lifetime warranty for confidence on the road ahead.
