How thick is the VanMat?

Will it slide around?
It's cut to the shape of your specific van and wheelbase, so it holds its position without fasteners or adhesive.
How do I clean it?
Pull it out and hose it off, or wipe it down in place. The rubber is moisture and chemical resistant, so wet boots, spilled cleaners and job-site grit aren't a problem.
Is it better than a rigid floor?
Different job. A rigid composite floor carries rolling and point loads and gives shelving something solid to anchor to. The VanMat covers and protects the metal and improves footing. If you're rolling equipment in and out daily, go rigid.
Does it have a smell when it arrives?
A new-rubber smell on unpacking is normal and fades.
