Unboxing Center Light Bracket for Weather Guard Headache Racks

If you're adding lights to your Weather Guard headache rack, the Weather Guard headache rack center light bracket is the clean way to do it. Here's exactly what comes in the box and how the system works before you start your install.
What's in the Box
The Weather Guard headache rack center light bracket ships in a small box. Inside, you'll find the bracket itself — a flat mounting plate with two pre-drilled countersunk mounting holes — plus a hardware bag containing slider nuts (also called channel nuts), countersunk bolts, and any other fasteners needed for the install. You'll also find a fully illustrated installation guide with a parts list, torque specs, and step-by-step line drawings.
The bracket has two mounting locations. Both use the same slider nut and bolt system that all Weather Guard headache rack accessories use, so if you've installed other accessories on your rack already, this process will look familiar.

How the Mounting System Works
The Weather Guard headache rack center light bracket works with the integrated channel that runs around the perimeter of the rack. You take your slider nuts, drop them into that channel, and position them at the bracket's two mounting locations. The countersunk bolts go through the bracket and thread into those slider nuts. Tighten them down and you've got a solid, flush mounting surface.
The Weather Guard headache rack center light bracket is designed to sit at the center of the rack, but you can position it slightly off-center if your application calls for it. Once mounted, the flat surface gives you open space to attach whatever light fixture, beacon, or bar you're running. It's also covered by Weather Guard's lifetime warranty — same as everything else in their lineup.
