Description
This J2000 System for the RAM ProMaster City comes with side support and does not require drilling. Each mount is installed via. M6 bolts directly into factory mounting points. The cross bars are reinforced extruded aluminum with channels. The crossbars have built-in channels to add additional accessories. The side supports are 4″ in height to prevent material sliding off the side of the vehicle. Eyehooks are located on the top of each sider support. The mounting bases is made from 4mm thick aluminum. The side supports are 14 gauge steel. It is also galvanized then dipped in rubber for additional protection. The optional accessories includes Side Support (4″ x 4″ with 2 bars kit; 6″ x 4″ with 3 bars kit): Prevent material from sliding off the vehicle, 1x (2 bars) or 2x (3 bars) Ladder Stopper: Prevent ladders from sliding forward (can be adjustable from 6″-8″ in height), 1x (2 bars) or 2x (3 bars) hook & loop Strap: Secures ladders in place within seconds. This system is anodized black, silver or white.
The Vantech J1000 system for the RAM ProMaster City does not require drilling. Each mount is installed via. M6 bolts directly into factory mounting points. The A285 cross bars are reinforced extruded aluminum with channels. The channels allow for additional accessories such as ladder stoppers, eyehooks and other accessories. The mounting bases is made from 4mm thick aluminum.

What is the spread between bars in the three-bar version?
These mount on the factory mounting points on the van, so they will be placed at points #1, #2, and #3 if you want to take a look at those on your van. We measured about 2' 10" between the front and middle bar on our van and about 2' 11" between middle and rear.

What is the weight rating for the racks? The two rows and the three rows
The J Series roof rack for ProMaster City has a load capacity of 200 lbs. per cross bar with the 50" standard bars and 250 lbs. per cross bar with the heavy duty bars. So the 2-crossbar rack has a total capacity of 400 lbs. (standard) or 500 lbs. (heavy duty) and the 3-crossbar rack has a total capacity of 600 lbs. (standard) or 750 lbs. (heavy duty).
