What You Get Out of the Box
The Luverne Prowler Max Grille Guard is a massive product. When it arrives on the pallet, the whole unit is shrink-wrapped and padded, with all hardware zip-tied and secured to the guard itself. This thing wraps the entire hood and front end of the truck — you're not installing a small piece of trim. Because of its size and weight, it ships via LTL freight on a pallet. Plan accordingly.
Once you get it unwrapped, you're looking at a one-piece design. Everything is already attached — you're not bolting the tubes together or assembling sections. The mounting hardware comes separately packaged inside the wrap. Open it up, check your parts list, and you'll have what you need for the install.

Luverne Prowler Max Grille Guard: Build Quality and Design Details
This Luverne Prowler Max grille guard is built from carbon steel with an ecoat base and black powder coat finish. The main tubes are 2-inch, with smaller tubes running across the grille section. The grille insert is a punched-out circle pattern — gives it an aggressive look while still allowing airflow for your radiator.
The wings on each side extend far enough to wrap around and protect your headlights. There are cutouts in the wings specifically for the headlight area, so you get protection without blocking your lights. At the bottom of the guard, there's a diamond plate step. It's there if you need to reach into the engine bay or onto the hood without putting your foot on the bumper.
The mounting brackets are individually wrapped inside the package. They all tie into existing locations on the truck — no drilling required. Driver and passenger side brackets are the same for this application. You'll have everything you need in the box to mount it clean.
What to Know Before It Arrives
First: verify fitment before you order. This guard is for the 2019 and later RAM 1500. Check the specific application info on the product page at Upfit Supply or on Luverne's site to confirm your year and trim level.
Second: because this ships LTL, you're not going to get the same tracking visibility you'd get with FedEx or UPS. That's just how LTL works. The upside is your product is strapped to a pallet, which usually means it arrives in better shape than if it were thrown in a box.
