What's in the Box
If the inside of your Sprinter is unfinished at the wheel wells - exposed metal, no liner, tools catching on edges - the Welfit wheel well covers for Mercedes Sprinter are one of the first things to add to your build. They cover the high-impact zones inside your cargo area, deaden road noise, and give the interior a more finished, professional look.
The covers have a textured black plastic exterior on the cargo-facing side that is built to take the contact that wheel wells get in a working van. The interior backing is a fibrous material similar to what you would find on a car door panel or in a trunk - and that backing layer provides some noise dampening and insulation value on top of the physical protection.
One important thing before you order: these are sold one per order. If you need both sides - and you do - order a quantity of two. Also, no hardware is included in the box. The Welfit wheel well covers for Mercedes Sprinter are designed to be used with Welfit wall liners, whose kits include the plastic retainer clips that secure everything. One clip goes through the wall liner hole, through the wheel well cover hole, and into the factory hole in the van body, securing both at once. If you are building without wall liners, pick up some Christmas tree push clips at an auto parts store before you start.

How Welfit Wheel Well Covers Attach
The covers have two flanges - one on the bottom that is designed to go under the floor, and one on the top that tucks behind the wall liner or panel. Two mounting holes align with pre-existing holes in the Sprinter body for the clip attachment. This layered design means build sequence matters: covers go in before the floor, then the floor lays on top of the bottom flange, and then the wall liner goes over the top flange. Try to retrofit these after everything else is in place and you will be pulling things apart.
SRW fitment only. These covers do not fit the Sprinter 3500, 3500XD, or 4500 with Super Single rear wheels - those require the DRW version.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Welfit wheel well covers sold as a pair or individually?
Individually. You will need to order a quantity of two to get covers for both the driver and passenger sides.
Do I need wall liners to install these?
You do not need wall liners, but you will need to source your own fasteners. Without Welfit wall liners, use Christmas tree push clips that fit the existing holes in the van body.
Will these fit my Sprinter 3500?
Only if your 3500 has standard dual rear wheels (SRW). These covers do not fit Sprinter models with Super Single rear wheels.
Do these reduce road noise?
Yes. Covering exposed metal wheel wells with the Welfit wheel well covers noticeably reduces road and tire noise into the cargo space.
What order should I install them during a van build?
Wheel well covers first, then floor, then wall liners. The bottom flange needs the floor on top of it, and the top flange tucks behind the wall liner.
